This sophisticated Cap Classique (bottle-fermented sparkling wine) will make every occasion a memorable celebration. It bursts with intense flavours of apple and peach. The luxurious bubbles are elegant and refined.
Our maiden 2020 vintage is a blend of the three classic grape varietals which are also used in the world-famous region of Champagne in France, i.e. Chardonnay (51%), Pinot Noir (47%), and Pinot Meunier (2%).
The Chardonnay component adds backbone and structure, while the Pinot Noir adds elegance and finesse, all rounded off with a lovely fruitiness as provided by the Pinot Meunier grapes.
While our Börls is imminently drinkable, it will develop further complexity for 6 – 8 years from vintage, if stored correctly.
